Titanic Hotel Belfast warmly welcomes you to the Wolff Grill Restaurant this December for festive themed lunch and dinner where you will experience a meal to remember. This holiday season the restaurant proudly presents its very own life-size Gingerbread House made with real gingerbread! The carefully crafted display has been created by the hotel’s pastry and maintenance team and is truly a marvel to behold.
The hotel’s pastry Chef, Magdalena Abakumiec, made 1,000 gingerbread bricks and spent 4 days cooking this by hand. 10kg of sweets were used and 100 candy canes. 600 individual fibre optic lights were used to create the starry ceiling. There are 104 individual panes of glass making up 13 windows held together by 20 sheets of timber. Magdalena said: “I have made gingerbread houses before but never to this grand scale. It was certainly a challenge, but I am delighted with the result: it is a fairy tale come to life!”
The Gingerbread House is available for private dining for the month of December for an additional £50. This includes a bespoke Gingerbread Cocktail, carefully created by our resident mixologist.
Relax and enjoy festive favourites including local Turkey and Ham or mouth-watering Braised Daube of Beef. Dessert choices include traditional Christmas Pudding, Chocolate Tart and sumptuous Black Forest Gateau.
