Winter is coming… in April! Game of Thrones™: The Touring Exhibition will make its debut in the UK and Ireland on 11th April at TEC Belfast. Designed by GES Events in collaboration with HBO® Licensing and Retail and managed by TBL International, the exhibition features a unique selection of costumes, authentic props and majestic settings from the Emmy-winning series.
The interactive exhibition will allow Game of Thrones™ fans to experience the Seven Kingdoms in the heart of Belfast’s Titanic Quarter. Among many other memorable settings, fans will be able to discover the wintry landscapes of the North and the the warm and dry sceneries of Meereen; they will explore Castle Black, the home of the Night’s Watch, and the lands beyond the Wall; and, of course, they will reach the Iron Throne and discover the story of those fighting to conquer it.
TEC Belfast is located at the very doorstep of
Titanic Studios, where Game of Thrones® was filmed over a 10-year period.
The exhibition will add to the already great legacy of the show in Northern Ireland, which unique landscapes served as backdrop in many occasions. Thus, fans can make the most of their visit and discover other very recognisable filming locations, such as Ballintoy Harbour (co. Antrim) featured in the show as Greyjoy’s hometown; Downhill Beach and the Mussenden Temple (Co. Derry) as the spot where Melisandre burns the Seven Gods of Westeros’ effigies; Castle Ward (co. Down), as House Stark; the iconic Dark Hedges (co. Antrim), featured in series two as the Kingsroad, which has become one of the most visited spots in the country… and many more!
