Titanic Hotel Belfast based in the heart of the Titanic Quarter is celebrating another success this year, after being named Northern Ireland’s leading hotel at the European World Travel Awards. The World Travel Awards, now entering their 25th year, celebrate and reward excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.
This year’s European awards where hosted in the historic Zappeion Megaron Hall in Athens. It is here business and brands in the European tourism sector are highlighted and celebrated. Commenting on the awards Graham Cooke, Founder & President, World Travel Awards, said: “Titanic Hotel Belfast has set a new benchmark for understated luxury in Northern Ireland. I am delighted that this architectural and historical gem has been acknowledged by both the travel trade and the public by being voted ‘Northern Ireland’s Leading Hotel’.”

Winning Northern Ireland’s Leading hotel at the
World Travel Awards, adds to several other wins Titanic Hotel Belfast has enjoyed since opening its doors in September 2017. The hotel was recently named Style Bar of the Year at the Northern Irish Licensing and Catering awards, Adrian McNally added to the win, saying:
“We are honoured to have won the ‘LCN Style Bar of the Year 2018’. The Drawing Office Two Bar is both an architectural masterpiece and a huge part of Belfast’s maritime history. We have taken inspiration from Harland & Wolff’s White Star liners with the design of the new bar and infused Belfast’s contemporary food and beverage offering to create an entertainment masterpiece in the Titanic Quarter.”
While also picking up the prestigious RCIS award for outstanding contribution in Tourism and Leisure industry, the judges’ panel commended Titanic Hotel Belfast commenting on: “Titanic Hotel Belfast being a truly unique piece of Belfast’s history which has been brought into contemporary life.”
