December 19th marks 20 years of the premiere of ‘Titanic’, the movie. 20 years since Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Rose’s (Kate Winslet) paths crossed in the Ship of Dreams. His romance marked an entire generation and relit interest in Titanic and its tragic history.

So much so, that James Cameron's film grossed £16 billion worldwide, becoming the highest box office to date. Were you one of those who watched it several times? Come on, you can tell us. We were!

But not only the audience loved Titanic, the critics also appreciated the quality of the film and conferred it numerous prizes, including 11 Academy Awards – becoming the top winning movie alongside Ben-Hur and, much later, the Lord of the Rings.

20 years after, the interest in ‘Titanic’ is still alive and the number of fans continue to grow. Proof of this is the fuss caused by a photo that Billy Zane (Rose's fiancé in the film) uploaded to Instagram in which he appeared with Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio this summer. And Winslet keeps being asked, in every interview, why Rose did not make space on the board for Jack. Many people yearn for an official reunion, will we get it?

To celebrate this special date, the mixologists at Titanic Hotel Belfast have created the Rose & Jack cocktail, with Rose on the side to keep her out of the water. It contains Jack Daniels Honey, Banana Liquor, Honey, Lemon Juice, Sugar Syrup and Rose Liquor. It’s already available at the Harland Bar!

Relive the romanticism of ‘Titanic’! Because, 20 years later, we still get excited every time old Rose (Gloria Stuart) starts telling her story – it’s been 84 104 years…
